IPv6 available: 65,535 IPs for all servers.
We are pleased to announce the introduction of IPv6 to our network. IPv6 is the successor to IPv4. Normally , when we talk about an IP address, we mean an IPv4 address. An example of an IPv4 address is 79.143.183.251. An example of an IPv6 address is 2A02 : c200 : 0000:0010:0000:0000:0000:1231:0001 .
IPv6 is completely optional, which means you can use it. For your server , nothing changes - but if you want, you can enable IPv6 alongside your existing IPv4 addresses from now on.
Each server and has received 65535 ( ! ) IPv6 addresses, an entire network / 112 . With IPv4 , the address space is very limited , considering today's requirements. With IPv6 this problem does not exist. All IPv6 addresses are completely free!
Important: You can only access IPv6 addresses from your local computer if IPv6 is enabled on your local network and with your Internet connection.
We wish you good luck with IPv6 !
