The 99.9% uptime guarantee is given to customers as a security measure, so you can feel confident in the reliability of our services. If the services are questionable, it is not paid. This guarantee is given to all customers. For example, if in one month (e.g. October 1, 1999 to November 1, 1999), the average of all services is less than 99.9% uptime according to What's Up Gold, in that month it is not paid. Services include HTTP (your website), FTP, PCP, Telnet, and SMTP & POP3 (E-mail services). These services are measured every minute of every day by IP Switch's What's Up Gold. This program is a network monitoring application and measures the average uptime of these services.
Restrictions
On-line problems happen all the time. There may be times when you cannot access your web site. This is not necessarily a problem for Exentric web design & web hosting. Your Internet provider may have technical problems, or there may be a routing problem between your ISP and Exentric web design & web hosting, making communication difficult or impossible. We are not responsible for such problems. What's Up will be the cleaning agent for the uptime of our services. Exentric web design & web hosting can periodically make upgrades to servers and network equipment at a scheduled time. Customers will be notified of such actions via e-mail at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. Downtime that coincides with scheduled times will not count against our uptime guarantee.
