The PRO Plugin for WooCommerce (before the activation of High-Performance Order Storage) where the customer can choose at checkout if he wants an invoice or receipt. If the customer chooses invoice the VAT, Tax and Activity fields are displayed and marked as mandatory. The fields are displayed in the customer's tab in the back-end and in the order with the ability for the admin to edit them, also now the Plugin does verification of the VAT number with the VAT service and automatically fills in the customer's details and also does verification of the VAT number with the European Union VIES service where it records the answer and displays it in the order in the back end. Also you can choose if you want the Company field to be moved below the invoicing fields.

Is it possible when using the Plugin "WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips" to print the VAT and profession fields? Is it somehow done automatically or do I have to print them with a custom template? It seems somewhere that these custom fields are named somewhere? Finally, the plugin you have made is awesome. I've been looking for days for something similar. Good for you.

Hello, we are building a website with the dwt theme. It is a listing directory with user profile page etc. This plugin is needed to be able to charge businesses VAT from the package they choose. Will it work with the theme seamlessly? The plugin has nothing to do with the user profile or login/register right? The wordpress version we have is 5.4.1.

Good morning, Since the theme uses woocommerce to purchase the package I don't see why it wouldn't work. You can try the free version to solve your question.

Good evening
The pro checks if the VAT is valid, in free you can enter the wrong VAT number and it passes it to the order, it also has other features like moving the data to the top of the form, rename fields, remove VAT if it is a European country etc.

Very good and immediately functional plugin. Thank you very much. Just one question, because I use WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips, when I open the .pdf of the order, it always says "INVOICE" under the company logo, even though I have selected Retail order (no VAT). Can it just say "ORDER" when it's retail?

Or you could use the fields I have to rename the NAI/OXI, make them Invoice/Receipt

I had tried the demo , it worked fine.
I bought the PRO version, installed it but I didn't see any difference.
I have registered in the Special Passwords Management Application, I enter my AADE username and AADE password.
In the Your Vat field I put the VAT number of the Creator.
I make a test order but putting the customer's VAT number does not load his business details !!!
Am I doing something wrong ?

Which version does it say you have ? if it says 2.6.1 or 2.6.2 , you have the free version and you have not deleted it to install the pro, once you install the pro go to settings and press save so it doesn't say it has Update
If you have installed the pro correctly, for the ADA check the box that says web calls in the special code management

Good morning, we have been using the plugin to check the VAT of customers in Greece for a long time and it works perfectly.

Now, we need the same check for Cyprus, but it is not proceeding to complete the order because the IRS does not exist. Do we need to do any additional action beyond declaring the new purchase location in the Woocommerce settings?

Regardless of the AADE we use the plugin to receive orders with invoice and VIES verification from countries outside Greece now.
We found out that the VAT field is required and therefore orders from e.g. Cyprus, where there is no VAT, cannot be completed.

No, we want VIES verification to be done in Cyprus as well, just not to have to include the tax office field, as it is done in the VIES web application (https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/?locale=el)

Unfortunately it doesn't allow us to proceed with an order with N/A or random DOB so we need a solution on this.

good morning , the Plugin does not issue documents , it is simple for the customer to choose whether he wants invoice or receipt, in case of invoice it brings the data from AADE and displays them in the backend
how to issue a document is another matter

If you choose that you want an invoice, put it in the functions.php of the theme and it will remove the COD (overwrite)

I have installed timologia and it is flawless.
The only issue is when someone enters the invoice details but then changes their mind and does not want an invoice and clicks "no", the details they had entered remain and are sent normally in the order.

Is there a way to fix it?

Hello, I wanted to ask if the pro version of the plugin supports the following, when the VAT number is verified and the company's VAT number belongs to the islands with reduced VAT rate 17% (Leros, Lesvos, Kos, Samos and Chios) if it can automatically change the VAT from 24% to 17%. Thank you!

I've turned it off for a while because I'm customizing it to be woocommerce HPOS compatible.
Check via VIES to see if it is a valid European VAT number
